Eastern District was founded in 2010 by Beth Lewand and Chris Gray in order to bring our favorite beers and cheeses to Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York City! We focus on carrying American products, mostly local and regional, but also some critical imports like English and Italian cheeses and Belgian and German beers.

Eastern District also carries sandwiches, meats, sweets, sodas, snacks and other tasty treats, in addition to our cheese, beer and food-related gifts. We create customized party platters and gift bags to order.

Beth is a proud 4th-generation Greenpointer. Although born in Vermont and raised in Baltimore, in 1997 she moved back to the Greenpoint house where her grandfather was raised. Chris joined her there in 2003.

Our shop is located at 1053 Manhattan Avenue, between Eagle and Freeman Streets.
