About us
Eastern District is a neighborhood cheese shop in Brooklyn. We opened in Greenpoint in 2010 and added our Park Slope shop in 2022. Ever since, we've been cutting cheese to order, filling our shelves with good things from local makers, and helping our neighbors find something delicious.
Cut to order, with a taste first
Walk up to our counter and you'll find cheeses from small farms and creameries in Vermont, Wisconsin, California and across Europe, cut fresh for you. Not sure what you like? Ask for a taste. Our cheesemongers love helping you find a new favorite.
Next to the cheese, we stock charcuterie, bread and pantry goods, with a soft spot for products made right here in Brooklyn. We believe supporting local makers is part of being a good neighbor.

Local pantry goods, plus sandwiches on She Wolf bread, made fresh for pickup or delivered through Grubhub, DoorDash and Uber Eats.
Boards and gifts
Cheese boards, platters and grazing boxes for parties of every size, and gift boxes packed by our cheesemongers.
